Leslie McDonald (6-4, Memphis Briarcrest) is one of the most sought after backcourt players in the class of 2009.  McDonald is long and athletic and has the tools to be a great shooter.  The Blue Devil Nation first saw McDonald during the Nike Peach Jam.  In my first interview with Leslie, it was clear that he was a class act both on and off the court.

When the Blue Devils inked fellow Memphis standout Elliot Williams, a lot people thought McDonald would look elsewhere and that Duke would move on.  Well, according to McDonald that's not true.  "Elliot and I have a good relationship, we can play on the same team you know," said McDonald when asked if Williams signing would deter him should Duke offer.
