In Friday night action, Olek Czyz scored 35 points but Reno High School lost to Gorman, 88-87, in triple overtime. Czyz made 14 field goals and went 7-9 from the free throw line.

Georgetown coach John Thompson III took advantage of being in Memphis and checked out Leslie McDonald on Saturday night. McDonald scored 25 points and collected 14 rebounds in a losing effort for Briarcrest Christian School. Briarcrest fell to Ridgeway 60-49.  Many top programs, including Duke and Georgetown are showing interest in McDonald.
