With the deadline for withdrawing from the NBA Draft past, CBS Sportsline has published their Pre-Season Top 25.  Memphis is #1 while Duke is #13.

Mike DeCourcy has written an article which discusses the Winners and Losers for early entry into the NBA draft.  He calls Virginia a winner due to the return of Sean Singletary, while Georgia Tech is a loser due to Javaris Crittenton not returning.

A huge third period, in which the USA outscored France 31-7, sparked the USA Women's U21 squad to a victory over the French National Team in a pre-U21 World Championship three-game series against France.
