USA U21 Women Beat France

Abby Waner scored 15 points as the USA U21 Women beat France, 81 - 68, with a 4th Quarter surge. USA trailed, 57-55, entering the 4th Quarter, but outscored France 26 - 11 in the last period. Coach McCallie credited lock down defense in the 4th Quarter.

Andy Katz has a new Pre-Season Top 25 Poll up and he lists Duke at #11. Meanwhile, Kemba Walker, a 6'2" point guard and the overall #36 player in the Class of 2008, has given an oral commitment to UCONN. And NMSU, who will play at Cameron in November, lost their Coach, Reggie Theus, to the Sacramento Kings of the NBA.
