Brandon Knight and Kenny Boynton were recognized by the Miami Herald for their performances last week. On Tuesday evening, Brandon Knight scored 15 points as Pine Crest defeated North Broward Prep 66 - 25. Kenny Boynton's game was rained out. That sounds funny for a basketball game until you know that the gym the game was scheduled to be played in has a leaky roof. The game is rescheduled for Thursday.

Adam Zagoria has wriiten an interesting article which discusses the merits of a High School National Championship.

This writer claims that Duke is the most complete team in the ACC.  While I am trilled to hear that, you can bet Duke will continue to work on their game.  This is especially true with rebounding which was an often asked question in yesterday's press conference.

Well, it is tent season in K-Ville.  This means a bunch of students will camp out in cold weather in order to be the first to rush into big ACC games.  Here is a link where a Cameron Crazy blog their thoughts.

It seems everybody wants to be a recruiting analyst these days.  It's funny how so many people know who Duke needs.  In this case, the writer talks up Greg Echenique.  BDN Premium checked his game out recently and that news awaits members.

It's been kind of quiet around college basketball with out Dickie V.  And I am not the only one that has noticed.

Meanwhile, Hokie Coach Seth Greenberg has just signed a contract extension which will keep him in Blacksburg until 2013.  Suspended player, Jeff Allen has issued an apology according to CNNSI.  His bumping of a ref will have him on the pine for Thursday nights game with Duke.

Mason Plumlee scored a team-high 14 points Tuesday, helping the Greenies improve to 21-2 overall and 9-0 in the Carolinas Athletic Association. Assistant Coach Chris Collins recently took in one of Plumlees games and Duke is evaluating the prospect.
