Coach K was not too happy about petty journalist which questioned him not wearing a ribbon for the Duke-UNC game in a gesture for the untimely death of the UNC Class President Eve Carson.  Well, all he did was organize just about every event on gameday.  The students themselves came up with the ribbon idea after those decisions had been made.  Coach K did about all he possibly could yet some in the media (grads from another school) are always looking for something to run with.  I mean how the heck did Roy Williams with a team that was voted unanimously in the pres season to win the ACC have more votes than Coach K?  It's the UNC biased media and if you think it doesn't exist, then I have some good money making deals for you, so shoot me an e-mail.  FWIW, the winners Seth Greenburg had a schedule which didn't allow him to beat one top 50 team.  It's safe to say that a Coach who has 800 wins under his belt has been greatly under appreciated in past ACC COY voting.  CBS.com's Gary Parrish gets it.  He must be from California;)

DeMarcus Nelson is the Duke of Defense!  He joins a long line of Blue Devils whose defensive skills earned them top honors.

OMG!  So Chris Duhon missed a practice for the Bulls.  He has been described as heartless and shots have been taken at his Duke education.  Here is a player who has never been in trouble and has one infraction and the Chicago media is treating him like Attila the Hun.  In this NBA age, this was quite a petty offense and for them to be so up in arms is off the charts ridiculous.  He has had more ink on this than players have had with gun infractions.

Oh!  That's right!  It is March, so it is open season on Duke from many in the media.  A little message for those brooding journalists - When the success of others get under your media biased skin, it's time to take a long look at your whining self in the mirror.  What have you done for society of late?  It's sad that the only way some media outlest can get hits is to go on a trash Jihad with little more than petty facts, but double doses of over the top opinions.
