Clemson earned their first trip to the ACC Finals since 1962 with a 78-74 victory over Duke. Clemson held off Duke by making free throws down the stretch. The Tigers, who were shooting 62.5 percent for the year from the charity stripe, made 7 of 8 over the final 1:41 of the game to thwart Duke's comeback attempt.

Tyler Hansbrough rebounded a Ty Lawson miss and sank a baseline jump shot to propel Carolina to a 68-66 victory over Virginia Tech. Hansbrough had 26 points and nine rebounds in the game. The Tar Heels will be trying to secure the overall number one seed in the NCAA tournament by winning the ACC.
