I voted for both DeMarcus Nelson and Kyle Singler for NABC's all region team.  They were both officially named to the team today.

ESPN's Gameday will be held in Cameron Indoor Stadium for the first time.  Details on when, where and how to get there are in the link.  BDN Premium will be on campus all afternoon tomorrow and early evening to report on the happenings shortly after they take place.  The atmosphere is sure to be rocking!

Duke Baseball is off to an 11-0 start and they have a three game series at home with their rival North Carolina this weekend.  The first game is today at 3:00.

USA Today refers to the big Duke-UNC game as a melodrama.

President Brodhead comments on the untimely, horrid death of UNC student and class president, Eve Carson -

"I have called Chancellor Moeser to share my great sorrow at the tragedy the UNC community has endured with the loss of Eve Carson. The death of a student is always a grievous loss on a campus. In this case, the loss is particularly senseless and appalling."

"Duke’s counseling and student affairs staffs are working with their counterparts at Chapel Hill to offer whatever services we can. The hearts of everyone at Duke are with our colleagues at Chapel Hill at this hard time."

The Chicago Sports Review calls the Duke-UNC battle the greatest rivalry in sports today.

If you have been on the sidelines thinking about joining Blue Devil Nation Premium, there is no time better than right now!  So, what do you get?

- The latest on basketball recruiting is currently up and updated often.

- Interviews with commitments and prospects like Mason Plumlee is the norm, as are covering events where our prospects and commitments will be.

- Inside information that you will not find elsewhere on football and basketball.

- Unique photography which allows the site to be your eyes at banquets, AAU events and more.

- A new message board and chat room where knowledgeable Duke fans talk about the latest happenings in a tame environment.

- The ability to ask questions and get the answers that will not appear on free boards.

- The knowledge of knowing that we check out facts and do not distribute rumors unless they are clearly stated as such.

- The ability to participate in picking contests to win prizes.

- Getting information way ahead of the curve or local and national media.

- Trusted scouting reports from people who are familiar with the sport and have proven track records of evaluating talent.

- Our members share in their experiences and scout players.  We encourage this for we are all a part of the Blue Devil Nation.

- With the upcoming AAU season, this is the time to join.  One season ends when another begins.

- Spring Football!  I am excited as he-ll about the new regime.  Unlike other sites where thw owners have been to a game or two in their life, we offer information from fans who grew up in and around the program and can provide a true insight, knowing the history and the playing field itself.

What I can promise you is that this site works harder than any out there to bring you all things Duke.  There is a reason our members stick with us and a reason for our growth in just over a years time.

Starting tomorrow, our members will get players quotes minutes after it happens on the "Brawl for it all."  BDN will be on location in and around Cameron all weekend for the big Duke-UNC battle.  We will put up pictures shortly after we take them of the atmosphere and make sure you feel a part of it.

We just put up the name of another 2009 prospect that will visit and we are more often than not way ahead of the corporate sites.  There are no smoke and mirror techniques at BDN Premium.  There is just hard work where we cover events in person gladly and willingly.  The people that cover the events and happenings at this site bleed royal blue, having been to more games in a season than most who cover Duke from a premium angle have in a lifetime.  We know what you want as fans and have been around Duke University for a long time.

Come on in where the passion is!  Paypal links are in the menu to your right.  Three months of premium is 36.00, six months 60.00 and one year is a deal at 100.00.
